Bridging the Gap between AI and Human Intelligence to Improve Healthcare Outcomes
Description
The utilization of AI in healthcare settings is becoming more and more prevalent. While it is necessary in many aspects like efficiency and costs, it is not (or may never be) at a level that won’t require human involvement. That is why utilizing this relationship in tandem is critical to improve healthcare outcomes. This session will dive into this concept focusing on a critical function in the cardiovascular space, ECG analysis. It will discuss the shortcomings of AI, the purpose and impact of human involvement, and how this relationship improves healthcare outcomes.
