HRX Roundtable - Contemporary Strategies in Cryptogenic Stroke Patients: Atrial Fibrillation Detection and Treatment Pathways
Session Description
Evaluate innovative and evidence-based approaches for arrhythmia detection in patients presenting with embolic stroke of undetermined source (ESUS), including perspectives from clinicians and industry stakeholders to improve monitoring and detection of atrial fibrillation by wearables, external monitoring and implantable cardiac monitors. This roundtable will explore novel and groundbreaking techniques, efforts, and technology advancements that allow clinicians to identify and improve atrial fibrillation detection in a patient cohort at-risk for recurrent stroke. Additional innovative treatment approaches in patients with cryptogenic stroke with therapies targeted to reduce recurrent thromboembolism and improve patient outcomes will also be explored.
