Kenny Cervelo highlighted the clinical risk of disconnected monitors, recalls, and lead failures, especially for vulnerable patients like children and pacemaker-dependent individuals.<br /><br />Sean Kumar explained how aggregators can add value by normalizing manufacturer-specific data, identifying disconnected monitors in real time, and supporting more advanced risk stratification, including recalls and premature device failure. Michael Lloyd stressed the importance of patient communication, education, and reducing anxiety from unnecessary alerts and transmissions.<br /><br />Overall, the panel concluded that standards should not limit innovation; instead, they should create a foundation for safer, smarter, more patient-centered device care.
